We went to the dentist this past Tuesday and the boys were great! Ezra just hung out in his car seat almost the entire time!
Evan was examined for the first time and sat very still.
Eli payed no attention to the dentist and was busy coloring away. This was his second time at the dentist.

Hershey Park September 2012
We received 4 tickets to Hershey Park, so this past weekend, we packed up and headed to PA for the night. We stayed at a hotel with an indoor pool and the kids loved playing and splashing around. Then on Saturday, we headed to chocolate world!
The Boys hanging out on the front porch of our hotel.
When we arrived at Hershey, the first thing we did was measure the boys to see which candy bar they were. Ironically, Eli was a Reese's.
The boys loved riding all the kiddie rides. John and I had to take turns so we wouldn't get sick. They all went round and round in circles.
This one was the boys' favorite ride. Thankfully there wasn't a line and they could go on over and over again. Mommy and Daddy were happy because it was a ride they could go on by themselves!
We took a break from the rides and saw a sea lion show.
This was Ezra's favorite part!
Both Eli and Evan were unsure of Hershey Kiss. We couldn't even get Evan to stand close enough for a picture.
Eli loved driving the cars. He had a chance to drive an old style car and a race car. That was the only ride Ezra was allowed to ride with us. Eli also rode his very first big boy roller coaster. It was a pretty intense coaster called The Comet. His face was absolutely hilarious during the ride, I wish I had a camera. He impressed me at the end, there were no tears, he only said, "Mommy, that was too fast. I'm going to ride it again when I am bigger."
By the end, we all felt like this:
But it has been a very fun day!

The Many Faces of Ezra
Just a quick look at the many adorable facial expressions of Ezra.
This is Ezra watching his brothers run circles around him.
He loves playing under his jungle floor mat. He is now able to grab the toys and bring them to his mouth!
Once again, sitting and watching his brothers run around him!

Washington DC!
Every Monday is a new adventure as a family and this past Monday was no exception! We drove out to Vienna and boarded the metro for DC. This train ride in and of itself was enough to make the boys' day!
After arriving in DC, we walked the mall and had some lunch.
Of course the boys felt the need to play in the dirt after eating!
Ezra was especially good. He stayed awake most of the day, but no complaints!
Our next stop was the Air and Space museum. The boys lasted about 20 minutes :-(. I guess this one was still a little old for them. We will definitely have to take them back when they get older.
Then it was off to the Natural History Museum to see the Titanoboa! This is John pushing the best stroller in the world!! We can keep all three kids contained at one time.
The Sculpture Gardens.
Of course the boys thought this was mega cool:)
Then we headed to the train and made our way home, where we all promptly crashed after our long day:)

Kite Flying in the Parking Lot
It was very windy this past Saturday and we wanted to go fly our new kites. John had only an hour or so between work and a photo shoot, so we went to the open parking lot near our house.
We got the airplane kite up in the air once, but it didn't stay very long. I think the buildings nearby were interfering with our wind!
The boys still had fun trying, while Ezra just watched.

Eli's First Day of School
September 11, 2012- Eli's First Day of Pre-school
Ezra likes to play and watch us. Then he goes down for a nap so we can do some more focused fun stuff!
John's Triathlon
The Sunday after we got back from the beach, John competed in the Reston International Triathlon.
The boys had a great time cheering him on!

Outer Banks 2012
We just returned from Southern Shores, NC in the Outer Banks. Sarah's family goes to the same place every year for a week of fun in the sun. The boys had a great time swimming in the pool and playing in the sand. Evan was terrified of the waves. The first day he would not even go on the beach, but by the end of the week, we had him playing in the sand right by the water.
Ezra enjoyed his first beach vacation and did very well. He napped on the beach everyday so we could spend lots of time in the sand.Getting all the boys for pose for a pictures was an impossible task, especially since Evan kept running away from the waves.
This is where Ezra napped everyday. It was not terribly hot and there was a nice breeze so he could stay out on the beach a long time. This picture is taken just minutes before a rogue wave crashed on the shore bringing water up all the way to the back of this tent! Thank God, Aunt Alicia was right near by and picked Ezra up almost immediately after he was submerged in the water. Baby's first ocean swim!
Since Evan was so terrified of the waves, John had to slowly expose him. The first day, Evan played behind the tent in the sand, then he progressed up to in front of the tent, but behind the chair. Then we moved the chair even closer to the water and he would play behind the chair near the waves and every once in awhile get his feet wet. John took him for a long walk up on the pier to get him used to everything. By the end of the week he was playing right near the waves and John was even able to get him a bit wet.
Overall it was a fun week with family. We got to spend lots of time with our two new nieces!
